With the summer transfer window approaching, Max Statman have taken a look towards the future of Juventus with TuttoJuve journalist Mirko Di Natale.
Monza’s Carlos Augusto is a name that has been linked to Juventus a couple of times. Are the Bianconeri seriously interested, or are Cambiaso and Pellegrini, who return from loan, enough for the position?
Di Natale: “Carlos Augusto is a player who could be of interest, because Juventus are lacking a lot in that area of the pitch, but I don’t know if they will ever make an offer. We don’t know yet what Juventus’ budget will be for the transfer market, we don’t know if the club will play in Europe and we don’t know if they will have to sell important players. Today, these are just rumors.”

Before he moved to West Ham, Juventus were interested in Gianluca Scamacca. His transfer to England is far from a success. Is there a chance Juventus bring him back to Italy?
“Juventus have tried to buy Scamacca several times in the past, so it’s normal that we still talk about him. For me, the Scamacca’s scenario could only open in the case of the sale of Vlahovic, but I have no evidence of contacts with his entourage.”
Will Ángel Di María still be at Juventus next season?
“Di María is feeling good in Torino, and is recovering from this injury that he suffered in recent days. People who know him say that he doesn’t like to change often, and then it’s unlikely he’ll return to Argentina right away. The club will meet his agent at the end of the season, it will be necessary to understand even if Juve will be willing to invest in him again.”
And what about Max Allegri? Many Juventus fans want him gone, but it seems like he’ll stay next year.
“Allegri signed a four-year-contract and yesterday he was confirmed by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Francesco Calvo. On the other hand, before an important match, these words could not have been different. Juve want second place and the victory of the Europa League, obviously these results will be very important for his future. I know that in Torino they have greatly appreciated his management of these difficult months. Allegri could leave Juventus only in the event of a maxi offer and ad hoc project for him, otherwise will remain.”
Both Arthur Melo and Denis Zakaria aren’t having successful loan spells. Is it likely that we’ll see them wear the Juventus jersey again next season?
“No, Juve will try to find a place for both players. Even if it will be easier for Zakaria.”
Is there any chance Milinkovic-Savic joins the Bianconeri this summer?
“Juve probably would have made an offer for Milinkovic-Savic last summer, this was the idea before the club worked concretely to bring back Pogba. For post-Rabiot, because it will be difficult to convince Adrien to stay, Milinkovic-Savic or Frattesi are two of the names to keep an eye on.”
