Radu Drăgușin, a Romanian professional footballer, has officially become a Genoa player. The news was announced by Drăgușin’s agent, Florin Manea, in an interview with Romanian sports portal Sport.Ro.
According to Manea, the transfer was triggered after Genoa’s recent match against Venice. The club had reached the number of points specified in the contract, activating a clause that allowed for Drăgușin’s permanent transfer to the Italian team.
The young footballer has previously played for several clubs in Romania, including Universitatea Craiova and FC Voluntari. He has also represented the Romanian national team at various youth levels.
Drăgușin’s move to Genoa marks a significant step in his career as he joins one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Italy, from Juventus where he was struggling to get enough playing time.
