In what has already been a busy transfer market, the Old Lady are still in the market for players with a return for Alvaro Morata and Leonardo Paredes on the list.
Talks early in the transfer window with Atletico Madrid were negative in trying to sign the Spaniard with Juventus unwilling to pay the 35-million-euro option to buy after his loan ended.
Atletico head coach Diego Simeone does not have Morata in his plans for the coming season and the Bianconeri’s head coach Massimiliano Allegri is still insisting on the 29-year-old’s return. Juventus could open negotiations again with Atletico for a new loan with a cheaper buy option.
The operation for Paredes is more complicated as there is a need to solve Arthur Melo’s situation before any new midfielder arrives. The Parisian club wants 20 million euros plus bonuses for the Argentinian, but Juventus do not want to pay more than 15 million euros.
The priority now for the Turin club is to offload players before they can make any new signings according to Romeo Agresti.
