With the new management of last year and a new transfer philosophy aiming for an Italian core, Juventus have made its first contact with Sassuolo for Domenico Berardi. The report comes from the reliable Juventus journalist Romeo Agresti who says the contact was made to sound out overall costs that would determine if they accelerated a move or not.
Berardi had a stellar season with the Neroverdi scoring 15 goals and assisting 17. He has scored over 10 goals in the past three seasons and provided plenty of assists, mainly as a right-winger. During the 2021/22 season, Berardi only missed a total of five games.
The Italian is currently with the Italian national team for the Nations League international competitions. Berardi was a part of the Italy squad when they won Euro 2020 last summer.
