It is no secret about the contract renewal between forward Paulo Dybala and the Juventus management. For over a year, the agent of the Argentine has been summoned by the Old Lady to talk about the contract but every time it seems there’s finally going to be a discussion, management postpones it to another time.
According to Gazetta dello Sport, it seems the time has come to where the 28-year-old has decided that he is no longer waiting, and he will leave the club this summer for free.
“The renewal for Dybala? I’m happy that he has recovered, he is an important player” Vice President Pavel said when asked about the forward’s renewal before the Champions League match against Villareal on Wednesday, “We made a pact with everyone to think first on the field & then to discuss the new contracts.”
“We’re not worried about losing Dybala on a free transfer,” Nedved added, “We’ve five players out of contract in June – and we decided to discuss their contracts later this year, and they’ve accepted.”
Dybala has been on Juventus for seven years, scoring 112 times and providing 48 assists during this stretch of time. The past few seasons, the Argentine has struggled with injuries which seems to be the key reason for management not renewing the player. All signs are pointing towards the exit door for La Joya.
