Report: Juventus willing to evaluate Gatti before pressing for a new centre-back

According to reports, Juventus are willing to evaluate new signing Federico Gatti before making a potential move for a new centre back to replace Giorgio Chiellini. Gatti, who impressed against England is set to be given a chance to prove himself during the pre season.

The Italian centre back signed for Juventus in January for €10M including add ons but was loaned back to Serie B, where he had a impressive season.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, it is not out of possibility that Juventus could decide to go with De Ligt, Bonucci, Gatti, Rugani and Danilo as options for centre back next season but it will certainly depend on how much Gatti impresses Allegri and the management.
