Roma star player linked with Juventus
Since the closing of the winter transfer window, one player that has been extensively linked with Juventus is Nicolò Zaniolo.
According to FabDellaValle via Gazzetta, “Nicolò Zaniolo for now is just a thought, but well rooted in the head of the Juventus management. “
As reported by Nico Schira, at the start of February, Federico Cherubini had met with the agent of Zaniolo, Claudio Vigorelli. The player was also said to be Paulo Dybala’s replacement in case the Argentine’s Contract renewal fails and he leaves.

Club Career
The 22-year-old Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or winger for Serie A club Roma and the Italy national team, grew up in the Fiorentina youth system. In 2017 Inter Milan signed Zaniolo, but he didn’t play any game for their first team. In june 2018, Zaniolo signed for Roma from Inter as part of an exchange deal. He made his debut for Roma in a UCL match against Real madrid.
Playing Style
Zaniolo is a tall, strong, and fast player, who is also a good dribbler. A versatile player, due to his creativity, technique, work-rate, energy, and physicality, he can operate in several midfield positions, and has been used as an attacking midfielder or ‘trequartista‘, as an offensive-minded central midfielder or ‘mezzala‘, as a box-to-box midfielder, and even as a deep-lying playmaker. He can play as a right winger and second striker, as well.

Injury History
In January 2020, Zaniolo suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee during a 2–1 home loss to Juventus. In July 2020 the player returned from injury. Furthermore Zaniolo missed the entire 2020–21 season due to another anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in September 2020 over the international break. Zaniolo returned to the pitch in July 2021. The player’s fitness is a major cause of concern for the management if they are looking forward to sign him.
