Thiago Motta and Cristiano Giuntoli are busy building Juventus for the future, but they’re stuck with some unwanted players from the past.

These players are making it difficult to make new signings, as seen with the Weston McKennie situation during negotiations with Aston Villa for Douglas Luiz.

The Italian-Brazilian coach, who officially started his role in Turin on Monday, is constantly in touch with the Bianconeri sporting director. Together, they’re outlining names and strategies for the transfer market.

Daily discussions are happening to plan both incoming and outgoing transfers. The goal is to have a defined squad by the start of the championship.

Motta and Giuntoli are particularly focused on selling players, in addition to making new signings.

The new coach has created a list of potential players to be sold. This list includes players with difficult situations, both in terms of contracts and injuries. Not all of these players will be easy to offload.

Some of the players who might be sold include Wojciech Szczęsny, Daniele Rugani, Mattia De Sciglio, Weston McKennie, Filip Kostic, Federico Chiesa, and Arkadiusz Milik.

It will be interesting to see how many of these players are actually sold this summer.

Here’s some additional information:
