Transfer Column: Juventus closing on Memphis Depay, Paredes on hold + more!
Memphis Depay is edging closer to Juventus. According to Gerard Romero, Barcelona have already informed Laliga regarding the exit of the Dutch International. Juventus have been leading the race for a long time. The Bianconeri and the player have a broad agreement over a two year contract. Juventus are still waiting for the termination of Depay’s contract with Barcelona.
Leandro Paredes’ move to Juventus is now on hold. Juventus were hoping that Adrien Rabiot’s departure would help them in getting a deal for the Argentine international over the line but that seems to have collapsed. Juventus will need to sell one of their current midfielders in order to finance a move for current Paris Saint German midfielder.
Juventus are not in talks for a left back despite the departure of Luca Pellegrini. The Bianconeri have not yet decided whether to bring in one this summer or not.
Daniele Rugani’s exit is becoming increasingly unlikely as days past, despite interest from a number of clubs from Italy and abroad, a deal has not materialized.
