Vicenza claim Serie C Coppa Italia victory over Juve Next Gen in dramatic final

Vicenza and Juve Next Gen faced off in the second leg of the Italian Serie C Coppa Italia final, with the Biancorossi leading 2-1 from the first leg.
The Brambilla-led Juve Next Gen started strong, making it clear that it won’t be an easy match for the hosts.
At the 19th minute, Nikola Sekulov scored for Juve Next Gen with a lob over Iacobucci, but it was Matias Soulè’s brilliant assist that stood out.
Next Gen could have scored a second before the end of the half, but a great save denied them. A great first half for Juve Next Gen.

The second half started with Vicenza equalizing through Ferrari’s tap-in after just two minutes. Juventus responded 10 minutes later with a Fabrizio Poli header off Iling Jr’s corner to make it 2-1.
The Juve Next Gen players were determined not to give up. However, this scoreline didn’t last long as Vicenza leveled the score again through Cappelletti’s header from a corner at the 63rd minute.
Brambilla’s men kept pushing for a winner, making several offensive substitutions with Compagnon, Cerri, Pecorino, Besaggio, and Yildiz taking the field.
Just a minute after these changes, Ferrari scored his second goal of the night, making it 3-2 for Vicenza.
This seemed to knock the wind out of the Juve Next Gen players, but they didn’t give up. Iling Jr earned a penalty that could have made it 3-3, but unfortunately, he blasted it high over the crossbar.
In stoppage time, Kenan Yildiz produced a fantastic play that led to Mattia Compagnon’s shot hitting the post, confirming a game of two halves for Juventus Next Gen.
The final score was 3-2 (5-3 aggregate) in favour of Vicenza, who capitalized on their limited opportunities. Vicenza won the Italian Serie C Coppa Italia.
