Will Allegri change his formation next season and return to the three man back?

The imminent arrival of Gleison Bremer to Juventus could change the way Juventus lines up next season. Juventus played with a back four during the 2021-22 campaign but could change to a back three with the upcoming season.

Not too long ago, Juventus used to play in a back three with the prime days of Bonucci, Barzagli, and Chiellini. With Bonucci the last heir to the BBC trio, Bremer would slot in perfectly into a back three.

The Brazilian excelled in a back three at Torino and could easily partner Bonucci with Danilo or Alex Sandro potentially being the other center back in the trio. Massimilano Allegri could try out the new formation with preseason starting this week.
