Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is reportedly set to make a return to coaching in June.
According to leading Spanish sports daily Marca, the French footballing legend is said to have his sights set on Italy, with Juventus in pole position to secure his services.
Zidane, who enjoyed a successful spell at the helm of Real Madrid between 2016 and 2018, has been out of the game since leaving the club for a second time in May 2021.
However, the 1998 World Cup winner is now said to be ready to make a comeback, and it seems that Juventus are the frontrunners to benefit from his considerable expertise.
Zidane could potentially return to Juventus as a replacement for current coach Massimiliano Allegri, should the club decide to part ways with him at the end of the season.
It is very likely that Real Madrid would try to re-sign him as their head coach if Carlo Ancelotti would leave at the end of the season. Ancelotti is said to have been offered a job to manage Brazil national team.
