Thiago Motta linked to Serie A top club
As clubs across Europe plan for next season, coaching decisions are becoming a key topic. One name that keeps coming up is Thiago Motta, and there’s growing speculation about his possible move to AC Milan.
Thiago Motta was recently let go by Juventus, but he is still under contract with the club.
He signed a three-year deal last July, so even though he’s no longer on the sidelines, Juventus is still required to pay his salary unless he joins another club.
Reports suggest AC Milan is now seriously considering Motta as their next head coach. With Sergio Conceição expected to leave and Igli Tare stepping in as Milan’s new sporting director, the club is looking for a new direction.
While early rumors mentioned Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri, Motta has recently emerged as a top candidate.
If Motta takes the Milan job, it would ease Juventus’ financial burden. He currently earns €5 million per year, and with two years left on his contract, Juventus would save up to €10 million if he accepts a new role elsewhere.
That money could then be used to strengthen their squad or invest in other areas.
Right now, Milan is reportedly exploring the possibility of hiring Motta.
If the move happens, it could benefit all parties involved giving Milan a fresh start and saving Juventus a significant sum.
