Juventus are favorites to sign their longtime target
With the 2025 summer transfer window now open, Juventus are once again being strongly linked with Domenico Berardi, the long-time Sassuolo star and Euro 2020 winner.
Despite turning 31 this August, Berardi remains one of Italy’s most consistent attacking threats.
He has remarkably stayed loyal to Sassuolo throughout his career, even during their recent drop to Serie B, where he continued to shine with 6 goals and 14 assists in 29 matches, playing a key role in their immediate promotion back to Serie A.
Juventus previously co-owned Berardi between 2013 and 2015 but never brought him to Turin permanently. In 2023, a move seemed imminent before Sassuolo blocked the transfer.
Berardi may finally make the leap to a top club, with Juventus leading the race ahead of Inter, Napoli, and Atalanta.
As Juventus prepare for major changes in their attack, the timing may be ideal. Berardi is reportedly eyeing Champions League football, and Juventus who finished 4th this season can offer that opportunity.
