Juventus winger undergoing medical tests in Germany before completing a transfer soon
Juventus winger Samuel Mbangula is currently in Germany undergoing medical tests before completing his transfer to Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.
The 21-year-old Belgian began his football journey in the youth systems of Club Brugge and Anderlecht before joining Juventus in 2020.
He climbed the ranks through the U17, Primavera, and Next Gen teams, eventually earning a spot in the senior squad last summer.
Mbangula made an impressive start to his Juventus career, scoring a stunning goal on his debut against Como under then-coach Thiago Motta.
However, his form declined as the season progressed, and after Motta was sacked in March, new coach Igor Tudor left Mbangula out of his plans.
As a result, Juventus placed the young winger on the transfer list this summer. He was close to joining Nottingham Forest, but talks broke down due to disagreements over personal terms.
Werder Bremen, however, succeeded in reaching an agreement with both the player and Juventus.
The German club will pay โฌ10 million plus up to โฌ3 million in bonuses for Mbangula. This move represents a strong financial gain for Juventus, who originally signed him for under โฌ500,000.
Mbangulaโs transfer is now only awaiting final confirmation, with his medical already underway. Once completed, he will begin a new chapter in his career in the Bundesliga
