Antoine Griezmann reacts as French talent joins Juventus
France international Antoine Griezmann has shown his excitement after rising star Léo Bamballi officially joined the Juventus U20 squad from Olympique Lyon.
Juventus confirmed the 17-year-old defender’s move earlier this week, with the French veteran reacting warmly to the news on social media.
Griezmann responded to Bamballi’s announcement post on Instagram with several love-face emojis, clearly pleased to see his young compatriot taking a big step in his career.
Bamballi, known for his versatility, can operate both as a right-back and a centre-back. Despite his young age, his physical strength and tactical awareness have already drawn praise from top scouts across Europe.
Bamballi’s agent is none other than Maude Griezmann Antoine’s sister who reportedly played a key role in securing the deal. The French youngster has signed a contract with the Bianconeri running through to 2027.
Bamballi’s arrival signals Juventus’ continued investment in youth talent, as they aim to rebuild with a strong core of young players.
With glowing endorsements from figures like Griezmann and high expectations from within the club, Bamballi is now one to watch in the Primavera ranks.
