Mourinho wants Juventus star as Fenerbahce prepare bid
Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are lining up a move for Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović, as they aim to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The Turkish giants are preparing a €30 million bid for the 25-year-old Serbian international. However, Juventus are holding out for a fee closer to €40 million.
Despite the gap, Fenerbahce remain hopeful of striking a deal, especially with limited interest from other clubs and Juventus’ need to reduce their wage bill.
Vlahović is currently on a €10.5 million annual salary, set to rise to €12 million for the 2025–26 season the final year of his contract. He signed this deal in 2022 after his €85.35 million move from Fiorentina.
Fenerbahce are reportedly prepared to offer him a lucrative contract worth €10 million per year, hoping to convince him to make the switch to Istanbul.
With Vlahović entering the final year of his contract and the chance to offload a heavy salary, Juventus may be tempted to accept Fenerbahce’s proposal.
The €30 million bid could become more appealing as the transfer window progresses and options remain limited.
