Juventus are preparing to welcome back their players who took part in the World Cup, with Kenan Yildiz set to be the first to return to Continassa.

According to reports, the Turkish forward is expected back in Turin on July 20 after enjoying a period of rest following Turkey’s World Cup campaign.

Yildiz will begin the second phase of Juventus’ pre-season preparations as Luciano Spalletti continues to build the squad ahead of the new season.

The 20-year-old will not be the only World Cup participant returning to the club. Over the following days, several other Juventus players are expected to rejoin the group after their international commitments.

Teun Koopmeiners, Jonathan David, Gleison Bremer, Francisco Conceição and Weston McKennie are all scheduled to return according to a staggered timetable arranged by the club.

Juventus have adopted a clear policy regarding players involved in the tournament. Each player is being granted two full weeks of holiday following the elimination of their national team from the World Cup.

The club believes the break is important to allow the players to recover physically and mentally after a demanding international competition before returning to pre-season training.

As more players arrive back at Continassa over the coming days, Spalletti will gradually have a stronger group available as Juventus continue preparations for the upcoming campaign.
