Moise Kean transfer to Fiorentina and its impact on Juventus pursuit of Khephren Thuram

Moise Kean has been regarded as unneeded by Thiago Motta and now they are looking to get rid of him.

It was originally thought that it would be through a swap deal and with him being used in the deal to sign Khepren Thuram. Now he may just be straight sold to Fiorentina.

This could lead to two other players being used for Thuram.

Fiorentina closing in on Moise Kean

Moise Kean looks set to join Fiorentina according to Romeo Agresti. The clubs have reportedly agreed on a fee for 12 million euros. Which is surprising due to the fact that Moise Kean failed to score or assists in Seria A this season. Bonuses for Juventus could be included in the deal.

Fiorentina are now in the market for a striker. This is due to their current back up Andrea Belotti leaving the club to join newly promoted club Como. Now they need to work for a replacement which is what the unneeded Kean could do for them.

Kean could decide to join Fiorentina over Nice due to location. It would mean he stays in his home country of Italy. He is also familiar to Seria A so he wouldn’t have to learn a new language and new league. So, this could be the reason he chooses Fiorentina.

Nice looking for a different player

This could affect Thuram’s deal as Moise Kean because Kean will likely choose Fiorentina. Now Nice are looking for different players. According to Sacha Tavolieri on X saying that Nice could want Joseph Nonge.

This is because he looks set to leave Juventus due to contract issues. So, the young midfielder could move to France by joining Nice. This would lower the fee and make it cheaper for Juventus. He also has potential which could also make Nice more interested.

They could also look for the other unneeded striker Arkadiusz Milik as a player for the swap deal. This, however, would be unlikely because of the injury he picked up in friendlies pre-Euros. This could mean he stays at Juventus.
