DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando has revealed that Atlético Madrid striker Álvaro Morata has been offered to Juventus in addition to Roma.
According to Accomando, Morata, who has a strong attachment to Juventus after two previous spells with the club, could be a target for the Bianconeri if they decide to sell Moise Kean.
“In addition to Roma, Morata was also offered to Juventus today,” Accomando said.
Morata’s return to Juventus could be a popular move among the club’s fans.
The Spanish striker was a key part of the team during his previous stints, scoring 27 goals in 93 appearances between 2014 and 2016, and then 32 goals in 92 appearances from 2020 to 2022.
However, Juventus’s decision to pursue Morata will likely depend on Kean’s future. The Italian striker has been linked with a move away from the club, and if he is sold, Morata could be seen as a replacement.
Morata has reportedly expressed his desire to return to Italy, and Juventus would certainly be an attractive option for him. He is familiar with the club and the city of Turin, and he would be playing in a league that he knows well.
Of course, any move for Morata would also depend on Atlético Madrid’s willingness to sell. The Spanish club may be reluctant to let go of a player of Morata’s quality, especially if they are unable to find a suitable replacement.
Morata’s potential return to Juventus is an intriguing possibility. The Spaniard would be a welcome addition to the Bianconeri’s squad, but the deal will only happen if a number of factors fall into place.
It will be interesting to see how this situation develops in the coming weeks.
