Juventus has continued its summer spending spree by completing the signings of Brazil midfielder Douglas Luiz and France midfielder Khéphren Thuram.
Luiz joined the Bianconeri from Aston Villa in a deal that also includes the departures of young midfielders Matias Barrenechea and Marley Iling-Junior. Luiz, who has signed a five-year contract, is expected to add depth and creativity to Juventus’ midfield.
Thuram, the younger brother of Inter Milan forward Marcus, has reportedly set to sign a long-term deal with Juventus after the Bianconeri agreed a €20 million fee with his former club Nice.
Thuram, who has been capped once by France, is seen as a promising young midfielder with the potential to develop into a key player for Juventus.
