Juventus eyes potential move for Milan winger as his future remains uncertain

Alexis Saelemaekers’ time at Bologna looks to be coming to an end, with the Belgian winger set to return to AC Milan this summer.

Despite contributing to Bologna’s Champions League qualification with 4 goals and 2 assists in 32 appearances, Saelemaekers doesn’t fit into Italiano’s preferred style of play. As a result, the club has decided not to exercise their €10 million option to buy the player.

With his return to Milan looming, Saelemaekers is likely to attract interest from other clubs. Several teams have already expressed their interest, including Juventus and Torino, according to Calciomercato.

Juventus, with Thiago Motta now at the helm, could be a potential landing spot for Saelemaekers. Motta worked with the player during their time together at Bologna and is familiar with his strengths and weaknesses.

Torino, in need of attacking reinforcements, could also be a viable option for Saelemaekers. The club’s proximity to Milan could also be a factor in their pursuit of the player.

Saelemaekers’ agent has also offered the player to various Premier League clubs, expanding the range of potential destinations.

Milan, for their part, are open to selling Saelemaekers to generate some cash and potentially make a profit, given his estimated market value of €2.58 million as of June 30, 2024. Any offer above this amount would be considered a success for the Rossoneri.
