News broke yesterday that Juventus might be moving away from signing Jadon Sancho. There have also been rumors that Sancho could return to Borussia Dortmund instead. This could be a good fit considering his successful 6-month loan spell there before joining Manchester United.
Karim Adeyemi
If Juventus can’t land Sancho, Karim Adeyemi could be an option. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Adeyemi might look for a move away from Dortmund if they sign Sancho.
The talented 22-year-old German has already shown glimpses of his potential. Juventus might be able to facilitate a deal by selling Dean Huijsen and Mattias Soule.
Huijsen could be part of a swap deal for Adeyemi. Juventus sees the young Dutchman as a potential center-back, which could address Dortmund’s need for a replacement for the departing Matts Hummels, who has been linked with AS Roma.
Alexis Saelemaekers
Alexis Saelemaekers could follow in the footsteps of Thiago Motta and join Juventus after his loan spell at Bologna ended last season, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Although Bologna had the option to buy him for €9 million, Vincenzo Italiano has not shown interest in bringing him back. Milan is now looking to sell him.
Milan’s asking price for Saelemaekers is €11 million. They are open to selling him after signing Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze last summer.
Juventus needs a winger, and Saelemaekers could fit the role. He proved his versatility last season by fulfilling whatever role was asked of him by Motta, even playing at fullback at times.
