Man United reportedly prepared to offer €100m for Federico Chiesa in the summer

Manchester United are interested in signing Juventus winger Federico Chiesa in the summer.

Italian website Calciomercatoweb states that Manchester United’s head coach, Erik ten Hag, has taken a liking to the young Italian and that the club is reportedly “prepared” to pay €100 million for Chiesa.

Despite this interest, it seems highly unlikely that Manchester United will actually make a move for Chiesa. The club has made it clear that their priority this summer is to sign a striker, and they have already invested heavily in winger Antony last year.

Additionally, with the current economic climate, it is uncertain if Manchester United will be willing to spend such a large sum of money on one player, especially given their recent transfer activity.
