Michele Di Gregorio is set to officially join Juventus with medicals and signing a contract that will bind him to the Bianconeri for the next few years is imminent.
This move, which has been in the works for over a month, has pushed Wojciech Szczesny out of the Juventus picture.
Di Gregorio’s arrival at JMedical for his medicals is imminent, likely taking place tomorrow. This will mark the officialization of his move to Juventus, where he is expected to become the club’s starting goalkeeper.
While welcoming Di Gregorio, Juventus has also been busy offloading players, with Moise Kean set to join Fiorentina.
The agreement between the two clubs was reached last week, and Kean is now scheduled to undergo medical tests between this weekend and the beginning of next week.
Juventus will receive €13 million plus bonuses for Kean’s transfer. The Italian striker has already agreed to a multi-year contract with Fiorentina worth over €2 million net per season plus bonuses.
This is not the first time Kean has been close to leaving Juventus. In January, he had already undergone medicals with Atletico Madrid, but the deal ultimately fell through.
With Di Gregorio’s arrival and Kean’s departure, Juventus is reshaping its squad for the upcoming season.
Di Gregorio is expected to take over the starting goalkeeper role, while Kean will continue his career with Fiorentina.
