Strahinja Pavlovic, who is reportedly to be one of the players Juventus are monitoring, has confirmed that the club have shown an interest in him, and his good relationship with Dusan Vlahovic.
Juventus have plans to sign defenders in the summer, and Pavlovic is one of the names that come closest to Juventus, with the club often said to be interested in him.
The 21-year-old is a young defender who has already become a regular feature for the Serbian national team. He is a left-footed centre-back blessed with exceptional physical strength.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Strahinja Pavlovic confirmed that Juventus wanted him and he never lived in Turin.
“Let’s say that there was an interest in me from Juventus, but I’ve never been to Turin,” said Pavlovic.
“Juventus is a top club. It’s always an honor when your name is associated with such a club. But right now I’m focused on Salzburg: we want to do well in the league, cup and Europa League. We’ll see what the future holds for me.”
Pavlovic also talked about his relationship with Dusan Vlahovic, a Juventus striker who also comes from the same country as him, where he confirmed that they talk a lot.
He added: “Vlahovic is a great friend of mine. We talk a lot. And we spent a lot of time together in the national team. It’s always a joy to play with him. I wish Dusan to get back in shape as soon as possible: Juventus needs Vlahovic.”
Strahinja Pavlovic has played 11 games for Redbull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
