Di Maria’s fitness concerns leave Allegri with tough decisions to make ahead of Europa League clash

Angel Di Maria’s starting position for the Europa League second leg against Freiburg is in jeopardy, leaving Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri with a major selection dilemma.

Although Allegri is hopeful that Di Maria will be available for the game, the player remains at risk due to a recent injury concerns. A final decision on his participation will be made after tomorrow’s assessment.

In the previous encounter, Juventus clinched a narrow 1-0 victory against Freiburg, with the winning goal scored by Di Maria before he was substituted.

Despite this, Allegri has reassured fans that there is nothing to worry about, and Di Maria was subsequently rested for the Sampdoria match as a precaution.

However, in addition to Di Maria, Juventus will also be without Arek Milik, Paul Pogba, and Leonardo Bonucci.

Pogba suffered an injury while training free-kicks, while Bonucci sustained an injury during the Sampdoria match. Arkadiusz Milik has been sidelines for weeks but he’s close to returning in full training.
