Two weeks ago, ilbianconeri.com conducted a survey asking whether Juventus should renew the contract of midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The results showed that 66.7% of voters were against the renewal, while the remaining 33.3% were in favor. However, a lot has changed for the Juventus club in the past two weeks.

The team was handed a 15-point penalty in the capital gains case, which dropped them from second place to the middle of the table.

This unexpected and difficult situation will likely change many of the club’s strategies on the market. Rabiot’s contract expires at the end of the season, and despite his impressive performances in the first half of the season, the club was considering renewing his contract, which seemed unlikely just a few months ago.

Despite the challenges, Juventus still seems willing to try and renew Rabiot’s contract. However, they will have to contend with competition from other clubs and Rabiot’s mother, Veronique, who has made high demands.

Additionally, Rabiot’s participation in the Champions League, which now seems unlikely due to the penalty, will also be a factor in his decision to renew. Without the Champions League, Rabiot may not agree to sign a new contract.
