The potential departure of Paul Pogba from Juventus, prompting the club’s sporting director, Giuseppe Giuntoli, to explore alternative options.
According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport, one name that has emerged as a preferred choice for Juventus coach Max Allegri is Franck Kessié, currently with Barcelona.
Paul Pogba’s future at Juventus has been a subject of intense speculation in recent times.
With Al Hilal rumored to be interested in him, the club is faced with the possibility of losing their star midfielder and will go not into his way.
In response to this uncertainty, Giuntoli has been actively searching for a suitable replacement, should Pogba depart.
Among the various names being considered, Franck Kessié has caught the attention of Max Allegri.
The Ivorian midfielder, who currently plies his trade at Barcelona, is reportedly not considered indispensable by the Catalan giants. This has opened up the possibility of a loan move, with Juventus being the potential destination.
While the interest in Kessié is evident, negotiations between the two clubs are yet to take place.
However, reports suggest that Juventus would be willing to pay a compensation fee of around €10 million to secure the services of the talented midfielder.
This figure, though substantial, reflects the club’s determination to bolster their squad in the event of Pogba’s departure.
In addition to Kessié, other names have also been linked with Juventus as potential replacements for Pogba.
These include Teun Koopmeiners, Rodrigo De Paul, and the young talent Diarra from Strasbourg. However, it appears that Kessié is the preferred choice for Allegri, given his playing style and experience at the highest level.
