Juventus is currently in the process of reducing its wage bill for the upcoming season. As of the last update, the club’s wage budget stands at €126 million, excluding the salary of Paul Pogba, who is no longer with the team.
The club’s management, led by Cristiano Giuntoli and Manna, aims to reduce the payroll by €14 million to €112 million, a decrease of approximately 10%.
This reduction is expected to be achieved through the departures of key players such as Alex Sandro and Bonucci, whose contracts are set to expire at the end of this season, resulting in a combined savings of €14.5 million.
The club is also looking to offload other players, including Arthur, whose salary is currently split between Juventus and Fiorentina, with the former paying €3.2 million.
In addition, the future of players like Rabiot, Rugani, Kean, Kostic, De Sciglio, McKennie, and Tim Weah remains uncertain, as they could potentially leave the club, requiring replacements at similar salary levels.

Moreover, the club might consider bringing in experienced players, which could lead to additional salary costs. Potential targets include Felipe Anderson, Teun Koopmeiners, and Jorginho, all of whom could demand higher salaries due to their experience.
The situation surrounding Federico Chiesa is another factor to consider, as he is looking for a pay raise in his new contract. Should the club agree to his demands, it could further impact the wage budget.
Last season, before the ban from the UEFA Champions League, the club’s wage budget was estimated to be around €140 million. However, due to the lack of Champions League participation, the actual budget ended up being €131 million.
Since then, the salary budget has decreased to €121 million, with the exclusion of Pogba’s salary and subsequent adjustments for new contracts and player additions.
As of now, the club’s payroll stands at €125.8 million. With the management’s efforts to reduce costs and the potential departures and arrivals of players, it will be interesting to see how Juventus manages its wage bill for the upcoming season.
