With the arrival of Cristiano Giuntoli as the new sporting director, the name Ivan Fresneda has resurfaced in Juventus’ radar, according to Calciomercato.
The young full-back has gained prominence following Real Valladolid’s relegation and will decide his future after the U19 European Championship.
Fresneda, a 2004-born talent, could be a cost-effective addition for the Old Lady.
Just a couple of months ago, he had a release clause of €40 million, but with the Spanish club’s demotion, it has decreased to €20 million.
Leveraging their good relationship with Real Valladolid, Juventus could potentially secure a deal for €15 million plus a percentage on future resale.
However, Juventus is not the only Italian club interested in Fresneda. AC Milan has also shown interest, although their primary target for that position is Singo, with direct contact established in recent days.
As negotiations unfold, both Juventus and Milan will need to keep an eye on potential competition from foreign clubs vying for Fresneda’s signature.
