Juventus Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli has set his sights on Jonathan David as a potential addition to bolster the team’s attacking options, according to reports from Tuttosport.
The Italian giants have established a strong relationship with Lille, the club David currently plays for, and negotiations are said to be progressing smoothly.
The Canadian forward is valued at around €60 million, a figure slightly lower than the potential €80 million Juventus could receive for Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic, who has attracted attention from top clubs across Europe, including Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, has become a primary target for Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti has personally taken charge of the pursuit to bring the Serbian striker to the Bernabeu.
The Bianconeri remains keen on securing the services of Jonathan David, who has impressed with his performances for Lille, as a potential replacement for Dusan Vlahović should he leave the club this summer.
Dusan Vlahovic is also believed to be heading to Bayern Munich, as they consider him as a an alternative to Harry Kane, whom it’s getting difficult to reach agreements with Tottenham to release him.
As a result, Bayern Munich would turn their attention to the Serbian striker. For Paris Saint-Germain, he is no longer a concrete target for them due to injury concerns. They have trained their attention to Rasmus Hojlund and Goncalo Ramos.
