Juventus pursues Kessié: Completing the midfield puzzle

The pursuit of players in the world of football transfers can often resemble a complex puzzle, with various pieces needing to fall into place.
Juventus are currently engaged in such a puzzle as they actively work towards securing the services of Franck Kessié. Their aim is to strengthen their midfield options for the upcoming season.
The puzzle began with the departure of Arthur, who has already left Juventus to join Fiorentina. This move has created a vacancy in the Juventus midfield, which the club is eager to fill with a player.
Frank Kessié, currently at Barcelona, has been identified as the ideal candidate to complete this puzzle.
To secure Kessié’s services, Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, and head of recruitment, Giovanni Manna, are now focusing on two other surplus players: Denis Zakaria and Weston McKennie.
While McKennie is not formally considered surplus and will join the American tour, his potential departure is still being considered as part of the puzzle.
Negotiations with West Ham for Zakaria have been ongoing for several weeks, albeit at a slow pace. Aston Villa and some German clubs have also expressed interest in the Swiss midfielder.
Giuntoli is determined to find the right formula for Zakaria’s transfer, which could involve a sale or, at most, a loan with a buyout option.
The objective is to soon transform the recent interest from England, Germany, and Turkey into a €25 million deal, which would bring the puzzle one step closer to completion.
Once the pieces fall into place, and if Juventus can successfully secure Kessié’s signature, their midfield puzzle will be complete.
