Juventus is making headlines for potential contract renewals, with Moise Kean at the forefront of discussions. The possibility of Kean extending his stay at the club is far from remote, as negotiations are reportedly underway at the Continassa headquarters.
According to reports from Tuttosport, talks between the management and Kean’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, have been ongoing in recent weeks to outline the terms of the contract extension.
The proposed deal could see the young talent committing to Juventus until either 2027 or 2028. Regardless of the final term, this agreement would allow Juventus to spread the financial impact of Kean’s acquisition from Everton in 2021, which amounted to a total of 38 million euros, over an extended period.
The renewal discussions don’t end there, as the club is also engaged in talks with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. With his current contract set to expire in 2025, the primary goal is to reduce his annual salary from the existing 6.5 million net to a maximum of 4.5-5 million. ‘
Concrete discussions on this matter are anticipated to take place in March, with a fundamental certainty that the Polish goalkeeper and his family are content in Turin. Notably, they have not entertained lucrative offers from the Arabian region.
The potential new deal for Szczesny could extend until 2026, aligning with the goalkeeper’s aspirations of playing a leading role in the upcoming World Cup with the Polish National Team. The commitment from both players would not only solidify the team’s roster but also alleviate the financial burden associated with their contracts.
As the negotiations progress, Juventus fans eagerly await official announcements that could secure the talents of Moise Kean and Wojciech Szczesny for the foreseeable future. The developments in these contract talks are expected to provide a glimpse into the club’s strategic planning and commitment to retaining key players.
